dc.description.abstract The ratio of the production cross sections for\ud W and Z bosons in association with jets has been measured\ud in proton–proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV with the\ud ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The measurement\ud is based on the entire 2011 dataset, corresponding\ud to an integrated luminosity of 4.6 fb−1. Inclusive and\ud differential cross-section ratios for massive vector bosons\ud decaying to electrons and muons are measured in association\ud with jets with transverse momentum pT > 30 GeV and jet\ud rapidity |y| < 4.4. The measurements are compared to nextto-leading-order\ud perturbative QCD calculations and to predictions\ud from different Monte Carlo generators implementing\ud leading-order matrix elements supplemented by parton\ud showers.
